Our Arkansas heritage runs deep, as does our appreciation for farmers and those in the agricultural business. Not only is agriculture an important part of the culture of Arkansas, but it is also Arkansas’s largest industry.
On November 1, Associate Attorney Jenna Fogleman attended the Arkansas Century Farm Ceremony at the Capitol where “The Fogleman Family Farm” was inducted as an Arkansas Century Farm. To qualify for the Arkansas Century Farm Program, a family must have owned and farmed the same land for at least 100 years. The Fogleman Family Farm is located in Crittenden County and was established in 1849.
The Arkansas Century Farm Ceremony featured remarks from Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Arkansas Secretary of Agriculture Wes Ward. Congratulations to all the families recognized as Arkansas Century Farms.
