Rogers Attorney, Kristin Pawlik, Has Been Reappointed by Governor Beebe to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission

Kristin Pawlik, of Rogers, Ark. law firm Keith, Miller, Butler, Schneider & Pawlik (K.M.B.S.P), has been reappointed, by Governor Mike Beebe, to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission.
Pawlik was initially appointed to the commission in March of 2012 and has served the commission thereafter as Guardian Ad Litem.
A Guardian Ad Litem is an attorney who is appointed by a court to represent the interests of a party who may not be able to advocate for themselves, such as a minor or a possibly incompetent person, during the court process, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Governor Beebe announced the reappointment on August 5. The appointment expires July 1, 2015.
Pawlik is a partner at K.M.B.S.P and concentrates her practice in the areas of domestic relations, family law, criminal defense and employment law, according to the K.M.B.S.P website. Pawlik is also a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She was elected to the Arkansas Bar Association’s House of Delegates.
The Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission’s goal is to enhance the investigation, prosecution, treatment, support and prevention of cases of child abuse, rape and domestic violence, according to its mission statement.
